Pacific Navy Slab House:
Here are some photos of one of our projects, under construction presently. The Slab House which is located at the border of Venice and Santa Monica has already been called a gateway project as it is on a highly visible corner of Pacific Ave and Navy Street. If one was driving to work past the site last week, in the morning they would not have noticed anything different behind the construction fence which for the last several months has concealed a large subterranean excavation and shoring to accommodate a large underground parking lot. By the evening drive home one would have been surprised to see 5 large charcoal colored slabs comprising the entire street elevation. In closing the street on Navy, a large crane was used to tilt up the slabs which were poured onsite in the time frame of 4 hours. All the 5 panels were stood in place creating an instant structure. Here are some sequence images of that morning.
